RISE is the only agency in Saratoga County that provides Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Case Management Services. Since being on AOT Thomas has been able to maintain his mental health, avoid relapse of his mental health symptoms and hospitalization, has improved his relationship with his daughter, and is currently seeking employment.
AOT is court ordered mental health treatment for individuals with severe mental health conditions that ensures they receive all the services they might need to successfully live in the community.
AOT increases people’s ability to live independently and reduces the likelihood of homelessness, arrest, incarceration, hospitalization, victimization, suicide, and other common outcomes of non-treatment.
