Sybil Newell, RISE Executive Director, and Lindsey Connors, RISE Associate Executive Director, joined Julie Lewis, Create Studios Saratoga Director, at Create Studios Saratoga for the lovely opening reception for the Saratoga Pictures in Health exhibition in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month at Create Studios in Saratoga Springs. The exhibit features artwork by community members that reflects how art supports their social emotional wellness and healing journeys. Artworks on display included pieces created by residents and clients from RISE, AIM Services, and the The Charlton School.
We thank CREATE for helping our residents feel safe and connected in their social emotional growth and mental health journey, by bringing the therapeutic arts to our residential programs on a monthly basis.
