Thank you to everyone who voted for RISE in the Solomon Organization Greater Capital Region Give A Chance Charitable Lottery!
Because of your votes RISE received a nice slice of the “pie” on the Give a Chance Lottery Wheel that was spun by Mayor John Safford of Saratoga Springs to determine the winners of the Solomon Organization Greater Capital Region Give A Chance Charitable Lottery! The Solomon Organization generously gave away 3 cash donations of $12,000, $6,000 or $3,000 – totaling $21,000 – to three Capital Region non-profit charities at the event emceed by Liz Bishop, CBS6 News Anchor, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Although RISE did not win one of these top three prizes, we were grateful for the $250 donation we received for participating!
RISE will be participating again in 2025 and we hope to get even more votes to get a larger slice of the “pie” of on the lottery wheel to increase our chances of winning one of the top three prizes!
Congratulations to the Kitten Angels for winning the First Prize… if RISE couldn’t win, we can’t help but cheer for an organization that rescues abandoned and orphaned kittens!
The Solomon Organization owns and operates over 60 rental communities across nine states including 14 locations in Albany and the surrounding area. They established the Give a Chance program in 2015 in Albany, New York, to support local non-profit organizations and their missions to create positive outcomes in the community. Since then, The Solomon Organization has donated more than $133,000 to support more than 100 causes in our communities.
