September 2024 Staff Recognitions

Please join us in congratulating the September 2024 Recognition Recipients!

Executive Director’s Recognition

The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.

Please join us in congratulating Jackie Knowles, Residential Director, Amy Potter, Development Director, and Stace Shinn, Property Manager as the September Executive Director’s Recognition recipients.

Jackie, Amy, and Stace spent countless hours at the Riverview Apartments in Corinth leading up to the ribbon-cutting to make sure the event went off without a hitch. Several apartments were beautifully staged by Jackie and Amy, which showed potential residents and community members how much attention and care we put into taking care of our residents and buildings. Stace practically lived up there when the building was being completed to make sure everything was functioning, and the new systems were operating properly. This was a big event for RISE that drew top officials from OMH and HCR. They did an incredible job, and the event was a huge success!

Rise to the Occasion Recognition

The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.

Please join us in congratulating Courtney Brimmer, Community Outreach Court Coordinator, as the September Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipient.

While Victoria Furfaro, Outreach and Advocacy Director was on vacation, Courtney stepped up beautifully to run the shelter and has been an exemplary leader. Even through personal issues, she has persevered and filled incredibly big shoes with grace.

Courtney took over many of Victoria’s duties while she is away for almost a month.  Courtney went above and beyond to support the Outreach Team. She even helped out on days off, and she took on the responsibility of organizing the move for of the Outreach program during the move out of the main office in preparation for the remodeling and she did it all with patience and grace.

Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition

The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job.

Please join us in congratulating Paul Page, IT Manager, and Stace Shinn, Property Manager, as the September Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipients.

Paul and Stace’s dedication and assistance during the main office move has been truly extraordinary. They have put in countless hours and has been actively involved at multiple locations, taking on a myriad of additional tasks, including those at our new Riverview location. From handling building, tech, storage, and moving needs, Paul and Stace have consistently demonstrated their commitment, remaining helpful and calm throughout. Their efforts often go unnoticed behind the scenes, but their contributions are invaluable to our team. They are a tremendous asset to RISE and thoroughly deserve this recognition for their hard work and dedication.
