October 2024 Staff Recognitions

Please join us in congratulating the October 2024 Recognition Recipients!

Executive Director’s Recognition

The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.

Please join us in congratulating Melodie Masterson, Data and Content Manager, as the October Executive Director’s Recognition.

Sybil Newell, RISE Executive Director shares, “I hear so often from multiple people outside the agency that our Social Media presence is extremely well done and compelling.

Even though this is only a small part of her job, it has a huge impact on the agency and on gaining public recognition for what RISE does in the community.”

Rise to the Occasion Recognition

The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.

Please join us in congratulating Jacqueline Bunge, Executive Assistant, as the October Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipient.

Jackie did an incredible job organizing our move from 127 Union Street to our new temporary location while HOMEBASE is being constructed. From getting quotes from multiple movers, to organizing the logistics of where and when everything had to go, to staying on top of making all of us downsize and clear our stuff out, Jackie handled all of it. This move would absolutely not have happened as smoothly without her!

Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition

The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job.

Join us in Congratulating Syre Zenon, Shelter Advocate, and Emilie Johnson, Youth Care Manager, as the October Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipients.

Syre shows a level of maturity beyond their years, and a true drive to help others. Never afraid to ask questions – Syre is always ready and willing to learn, has demonstrated calm and quick action under pressure, and their positive attitude has a palpable effect on the shelter guests.

We look forward to seeing Syre continuing to grow professionally with RISE.

Youth Care Management has experienced a lot of changes recently and Emilie has been a beacon of light through this time.

Emily is always willing to jump in and help at any time with any aspect of our job. She has passion for her clients and works diligently to assure that they all receive the care they need. For example, these past few months she has collaborated with several providers to assure a child who just began services remains eligible to keep them. She is a joy to have in the office and brings fun to the office every day!
