Please join us in congratulating the December Recognition Recipients!
Executive Director’s Recognition
The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate the agency.
Congregations to Lindsey Connors, Associate Executive Director. Lindsey spent the New Years holiday delivering bottled water to RISE Residents because of the boil water advisory in Saratoga Springs after a water main break.
Lindsey also was very instrumental in submitting a Federal grant request to Rep. Paul Tonko which resulted in RISE receiving 2.5 million dollars to be used to develop Homebase – a low-barrier psychosocial program for individuals life challenge that prevents them from participating in more structured educational or social settings. Thank you Lindsey for your persistence and you willingness to go above and beyond for the people we serve!
Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.
Congratulations to Jolene Corlew, Adult Care Management Program Director, as the January Rise to the Extra Mile recipient. Since coming on board as the program director, Jolene has worked hard to create a plan to help the Adult Care Management team work as a cohesive whole. She checks in on staff members who have been managing difficult situations to make they are ok.
The staff appreciates that she listens to them steps up to help when there is a need. She is great at helping solve problems by offering insight and alternative methods or approaches to use. Jolene helps the team manage stress by reminding them to take care of themselves and she always says “thank you” – a simple but greatly appreciated gesture.
Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Congratulations to Nicole Orologio, Counselor at Hedgerow House, as the January Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipient. Nicole has been going above and beyond in covering extra shifts at Hedgerow House and at the other RISE Community Residences. Thank you Nicole for stepping up and covering all these shifts!
