Bi-Monthly Food Drops Stretches Food Budget Dollars

RISE thanks LifeWorks Community Action and the Regional Food Bank for the bi-monthly food drops! The extra food helps our residential programs stretch their food budget dollars.

Each spring Lifeworks coordinates a bi-monthly food drop at Pine Grove Community Church. The Regional Food Bank  drops off the in the church parking lot where volunteers divide the food into piles for Community Agencies to pick up and distribute to the individuals and families they serve. RISE divides the food we receive between our Community Residences and our Apartment Programs to augment each program’s food budgets. We appreciate the coordination and the lead taken by LifeWorks each year, and support show to our community through Pine Grove Community Church, LifeWorks, and the Food Bank.
