Compliance Officer

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a confidential, detail oriented, dedicated individual to join our time as our Compliance Officer.  A successful candidate will have experience with quality assurance and regulation adherence, and will excel in an independent role.

RISE offers a Compliance Officer:

  • A starting base wage of $26.45 per hour to $28.85 per hour
  • $1500 bonus after 6 months of employment

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Compliance Plan
  • Supporting agency adherence to policy and procedure
  • Chairing the compliance committee
  • Conducting audits
  • Participating in investigations
  • Reporting on compliance activities
  • Oversight of HIPAA compliance

To qualify you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience interpreting regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, and/or conducting audits
  • Knowledge of regulations from the NYS Office of Mental Health, Department of Health, and Office of Medicaid Inspector General
    • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries
