House Manager

RISE Housing and Support Services is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, self-motivated leader, to oversee the daily operations of the Hedgerow House residential program in Ballston Spa, NY, under the supervision of the Program Director.  A successful candidate will be able to inspire a small staff to help our residents to manage the life challenges their substance use diagnose has presented, while maintaining a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment.

RISE offers a House Manager:

  • A rate of $25 to $27 per hour

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day operations of the Hedgerow House residential program in collaboration with the Program Director
  • Oversight of program operations
  • Intake Screening Process
  • Supervision and support of relief staff
  • Internal and External Communication
  • Building management
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment
  • Adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations

To qualify you must have:

  • A CASAC credential from NYS with 2+ years of experience working with sensitive populations
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
  • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
  • Excellent crisis management and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries

  • Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations
  • A valid NY State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program
