Graduate and Undergraduate Intern

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program in a 2 or 4 year college or university
  • Major or minor in a human services related field
  • Successful completion of RISE background checks

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be understanding of the needs of sensitive populations and demonstrate empathy
  • Have well-developed professional boundaries and high ethical standards
  • Maintain strict standards of confidentiality
  • Have an ability to function as a member of a team and work independently

SCOPE:

The intern will report to the Clinical Director and will be supervised by the appropriate staff person in each clinical and/or administrative rotation

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To meet curriculum credit requirements through participation in the RISE internship program:

  • Rotations are available in the following areas:
    • Clinical (Residential and Support Services)
    • Administrative (Executive Management, HR + Compliance, and Business Management)
  • Scheduling is flexible to meet the needs of the student and the requirements of their undergraduate program
  • Internship is unpaid and is for credit purposes only
  • Opportunity for paid staff positions may be available after completion of internship
