Celebrating Mental Wellness in the New Year!

January is Mental Wellness Month.

Please join us in promoting mental wellness this January and throughout 2024!

Mental Wellness is the ability to cope with life’s stressors while maintaining a good quality of life. It is utilizing the right tools and resources to find resilience when life feels depleting. With your generous support, RISE continues to provide housing and supportive services to the people we work with to assist them in achieving and maintaining mental wellness.

“RISE helps me maintain my mental health. My counselor helps me with my medications, as well as setting and meeting my goals.

I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis. Bad mental health causes flareups and the flareups can lead to colon cancer.

So it i’s important for me to take care of my mind to be able to have good physical health.”

Our impact is life changing as shared in this video by the individuals RISE has helped. Support for community partners like you help us enable the individuals we serve to achieve the mental wellness they need to live safely and healthy in our community.

Please consider a gift today in support of RISE Housing and Support Services as we continue to provide supportive and affordable housing as well as advocacy, crisis, and recovery services to the most vulnerable in our community. Be part of our 2024 Mental Wellness Journey as we continue to develop and construct the following programs:

  • Riverview – A 60-unit affordable housing complex in Corinth
  • Community Rehab – Continued construction on a 20-bed residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Ballston Spa this spring! Once complete, it will be the only community-based rehab in Saratoga County.
  • Homebase – Breaking ground this spring on this low-barrier psychosocial day-program targeting individuals experiencing street-homelessness.
