Commissioner Tim Coll and Commissioner Minita Sanghvi commemorate the instillation of collection boxes with QR Codes in downtown Saratoga Springs designed to reduce panhandling while still helping the individuals experiencing homelessness.
“The purposes of these boxes are to give the public the opportunity to give money directly to our non profits – RISE Housing and Support Services and Shelters of Saratoga. The money will be used to get safe housing for the homeless.” Both agencies, Commissioner Coll continues are, “experts on homelessness in this area. They are a tremendous resource for our city.”
