June 2024 Staff Recognitions

Please join us in congratulating the June 2024 Recognition Recipients!

Executive Director’s Recognition

The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.

Congratulations to Audrey Rudd, Shelter Advocate, as the June Executive Director’s Recognition recipient. Audrey has been instrumental in three different client medical emergencies at the Adelphi Street Shelter.

Her calm under pressure, and flawless execution of medical emergency procedure is to be commended. Both staff and clients alike are so grateful for her quick and impactful responses. Thank you, Audrey!!

Rise to the Occasion Recognition

The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.

Congratulations to Cora Kraus, Adult Care Manager, and Olivia Donbeck, Milestone Manor Counselor, as the June Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipients!

Cora is a relatively new Care Manager, and when we a recent Care Manager left the agency, she picked up a full caseload. Cora has been working diligently trying to get all her clients’ needs met, while also trying to get all paperwork caught up and in compliance.

It was immediately apparent that Cora has an easiness and rapport with clients that usually only comes after years of experience.  Although she was brand new, she was comfortable and responsive as soon as she received her caseload.

Her clients trust and respect her, and they also seem to like her a great deal. We are so appreciative of all the hard work she is doing! She is going to be an asset to the agency.

Olivia started as a counselor at Milestone Manor in April of 2023. She has and continues to prove herself as a reliable and valued team member. She is the youngest member of our “seasoned” team and although she may not catch on to the other team members’ 80’s and 90’s cultural references, or understand the purpose of a fax machine, she is always willing to laugh along with everyone and take it all in stride.

Olivia’s old soul, compassion, calm nature, and work ethic allow her to connect and guide residents through day-to-day tasks; as well as crisis situations (which always seem to happen on her overnights!). We appreciate Olivia’s dedication and drive, and we are grateful she is a part of our team!

Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition

The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.

Congratulations to Stace Shinn, Facilities Manager, as the June Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipient!

RISE would not run without Stace! His ability to prioritize competing needs at our 16 properties, and somehow get it all done (even when working without an assistant for multiple months) hardly seems possible.

And although burdened with a heavy workload, he still finds time to come in and set up raised beds at Dominic Hollow (on a weekend!) – fulfilling some of our clients’ dreams. You are the best, Stace! And we are SO grateful for you!

Staff on the RISE

Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.

Congratulations to Kayana Webster, Rain House Program Supervisor, as the June Staff on the Rise Recognition recipient!

Kayana has shown extreme dedication to elevating Rain House through concentrated efforts on improving compliance, a cleanly environment, and client support – going above and beyond. These efforts have earned her a new leadership position as the Rain House Program Supervisor!
