Please join us in congratulating the May Recognition Recipients!
Executive Director’s Recognitions
The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.
Congratulations to Brendan Myers, Human Resources Director, one of the May Executive Director’s Recognition recipients! Brendan is always willing to do whatever needs to be done for RISE.
Although his official title is Human Resources Director, Brendan often acts as excel expert, maintenance helper during snowstorms, agency therapist, and emergency janitor (for which Sybil Newell, RISE Executive Director is eternally grateful). Thank you Brendan!
Congratulations to Melodie Masterson, Data and Content Manager, another May Executive Director’s Recognition recipient! Melodie always goes above and beyond for RISE.
Melodie wears multiple hats, constantly offers to take on additional projects and assignments, and does a ton of relief at the CR’s. She is always learning new skills and finding ways to make RISE run more smoothly. Melodie, you are greatly appreciated!
Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.
Congratulations to Ariann Ceroalo , Adult Care Manager, as the May Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipient! Julia was nominated by Julia D’Agostino, who says “Ariann is an amazing mentor to me, consistently advocating effectively for her clients, and providing crisis intervention up front to clients who are not on her caseload when necessary.”
Ariann also takes on a lot of relief at Milestone which is of course a big help to them!
Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Congratulations to Julianne Thomas, Hedgerow House Program Director, as the May Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipient! Julianne was nominated by Nicole Smarro, Hedgerow House Program Supervisor, who says, “I want to express the immense gratitude that I have for Julianne Thomas as a supervisor and leader. She has been the rock of the Hedgerow House program and has shown us how to proceed despite any challenges that we may face.”
“When we are feeling stressed or overly challenged, Julianne is great at getting us to calm down and realize what we are dealing with. She makes sure that she is always communicating with the staff here but also with the residents. Her leadership and dedication to the work we do is nothing like I have ever experienced no matter what position I may have held. She is a true inspiration, and I am very lucky that she took a chance on me over 5 years ago.”
Staff on the RISE
