Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Congratulations to the RHPS Planning Committee: Lindsey Connors, Amy Potter, Janessa Ellmers, Jolene Corlew, Liz McFarren, Daniela Fabiani-Longo, Morgan Murdza, Katherine Evanico (former employee who volunteered on the committee), Rik Jordan, Melodie Masterson, and Victoria Furfaro, as the November Rise to the Occasion recipients!
The Rocky Horror Planning committee was extremely dedicated and enthusiastic throughout the entire process of creating a an even bigger and better Rocky Horror experience for our supporters this year. Their efforts were essential to a very successful and unforgettable evening! Special shoutout to Liz for the ridiculous number of hours she spent on a 12-foot ladder hanging spider webs!!
Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.
Congratulations to Amy Potter, Development Director, as the November Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipient!
Amy hit the ground running as soon as she came aboard the RISE team this past summer. She has been able to successfully juggle competing priorities while executing a phenomenal signature fundraiser! We can’t wait to see the growth she is sure to bring to our development efforts in 2024.
Staff on the RISE
Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.
Congratulations to Brian Dougherty, Community Outreach Program Supervisor, as the November Staff on the Rise!
Brian is extremely dedicated, and strives to provide the best services possible to the folks that he works with. He is always a team player, and fills in wherever he needs to, and is a reliable and integral part of the team. Brian is eager to expand his knowledge in the field, and is always looking for trainings and educational avenues to improve his ‘tool belt’.
Brian has been at the agency under a year but has already stepped up to assist in the creation and implementation of multiple challenging programs. Brian can be trusted to hold down the fort and manage the Advocacy and Outreach Programs, including the Adelphi Street Shelter when Victoria Furfaro, Advocacy and Outreach Director is unavailable. We are looking forward to seeing Brian step into his supervisory role, and how much he grows at the forefront of a our brand-new OASAS program!
