Please join us in congratulating the September Recognition Recipients!
Executive Director’s Recognition
The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.
Congratulations to Matt Durham, PSAP Director, and Vita Nemeyer, PSAP Program Supervisor as the Executive Director’s Recognition recipients! Matt and Vita have managed PSAP through several staffing shortages without a decline in services to the residents of their program. This typically means carrying a caseload and/or assisting with counselor caseloads in addition to their management responsibilities. They have kept the program functioning while almost constantly hiring and training new staff.
Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.
Congratulations to Amy Perkins, Supported Housing Advocate, as the Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition recipient! Amy is a long-time dedicated employee of RISE. She often goes above and beyond the job expectations in serving her residents. She is caring and compassionate in the way she manages her challenging caseload. She is dedicated and consistent. Her clients often state how much her help means to them.
Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Congratulations to Hedgerow House Staff as the Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipients. We appreciate all the staff at HRH for their continued, excellent service to our clients while seamlessly and gracefully navigating extensive shift coverage needs in-house. A shining example of teamwork!
Staff on the RISE
Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.
Congratulations to Kiabet Quiroz-Mejia, Edgewood House Counselor, as the September Staff on the Rise! Kia has been a Residential Counselor at Edgewood House for a year. Kia shares that she always wanted a job where she could help people and has found that at Edgewood. “It is heartwarming when people are grateful for the help I provide. It is also important to me to be able to set an example. I come from an immigrant family from Mexico. People in my heritage rarely talk about mental health. I want to demonstrate that it is okay to ask for help.”
