The RISE Community Outreach Court Coordinators Need Your Help!
This is our agency’s least favorite time of the year. Code Blue season is over, and many folks have returned to uncertainty of where they are going to lay their heads each night.
As a member of the Saratoga County Alliance to End Homelessness, RISE is working hard to create a community where we hand each of these folks keys, not tents. But until that day comes, our Outreach Team could certainly use your help in providing for their basic shelter, clothing, and hygiene needs.
Outreach staff, Victoria and Jenna, have identified the most immediate needs of our street-homeless community. These include:
Clothing: socks, underwear, pants, shirts, shoes, and backpacks.
Please consider helping a neighbor in need today…
- Purchase items from our list and drop them off at the RISE Main Office located at 127 Union Street in Saratoga Springs
- Order items from our Amazon Wish List
- Make a monetary donation on the RISE Website Donation Page
The Community Outreach Court assists people experiencing homelessness and charged with non-violent offenses to break the cycle of street, to jail, and back into the courts. RISE Community Outreach Court Coordinators are present at court to connect with and work with participants outside of the courtroom.
Thank you for your generosity!
