In September 2023, RISE celebrated the opening of SunRISE Retreat Intensive Crisis Residence (ICR) with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
In September 2024, staff and residents celebrated SunRISE Retreat’s 1 year anniversary!
In the year since it has been opened SunRISE:
- 143 people were provided intensive crisis services to 143 people.
- 73 people successfully completed the program before returning to their home or community residence.
- 83 people returned to or were placed in stable housing upon leaving the ICR.
SunRISE Retreat provide residents a home-like setting with private rooms, 24-hour professional support, and home-style meals.
Services provided at SunRISE Retreat include individual and group counseling, safety planning, peer support, skill building instruction, and medication management by licensed nurses and mental health professionals.
Staff also engage with the residents in recreational/wellness activities such as the ice-cream sundaes eclipse watching party.
