RISE cut the ceremonial ribbon on at SunRISE Retreat – our new Intensive Crisis Residence. This will be the first residence of its kind in the Capital Region. Representatives from the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, Senator Jim Tedisco, The City of Saratoga Springs, MayorRon Kim, Dr. Michael Prezioso, Commissioner of the Saratoga County Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Office of Mental Health Commissioner Moira Tashjian were present for the ceremony.
SunRISE Retreat is a Intensive Crisis Residence that is located on Kirby Rd., in Saratoga Springs. It is a short-term voluntary program that serve individuals who are in mental health distress, or experiencing symptoms of a mental health crisis. SunRISE Retreat provides stabilization services, treatment, and discharge planning so that the individuals may safely return to the community.
