Thank you Sustainable Saratoga for the great Recycles Day 2020! RISE Healthy Housing and Support Services collected a very generous amount of paints, paper, canvases, frames, and other art supplies for the Saratoga Art Pantry!
Sustainable Saratoga’s Recycles Day is an annual community event planned and ran by Sustainable Saratoga’s amazing volunteers. Sustainable Saratoga’s first ever Saratoga Recycles Day, held in 2017 was an amazing success. More than 11,000 pounds of textiles, at least 80 bikes, and tons of scrap metal was collected, diverting these things from the landfill. Each years non-profit agencies from Saratoga County participate in the event to to collect and repurpose used and unwanted items, which further increases the positive impact on both the environment and our community. RISE is proud to be a part of this even and a grateful recipient of art supplies for the Saratoga Art Pantry.
